Pacific Caregivers was founded from a deeply personal experience.
Personalized caregiver matching based on your family’s unique needs
When the original founder’s mother suffered a stroke, the family was faced with a difficult decision. Like many seniors, she wanted to remain at home with her husband rather than move into a hospital or care facility. While the family was committed to supporting her wishes, they quickly discovered how challenging it could be to find reliable, affordable, and compassionate care.
After exploring various home care options, they found dedicated caregivers who became an essential part of their family’s journey. These caregivers provided not only practical assistance but also companionship, dignity, and peace of mind.

With their support, our founder’s parents were able to remain together in their own home for several years, surrounded by familiar comforts and the people they loved. Later, additional caregivers helped provide around-the-clock support, allowing the family to focus on spending meaningful time together rather than struggling with the day-to-day demands of caregiving.
The experience was life-changing. It also revealed how difficult it can be for families to navigate the search for dependable care on their own. Pacific Caregivers was established to help other families facing similar challenges.

In 2022, PacificCaregivers.ca was acquired by International Nannies and Homecare Ltd., a Canadian caregiver and nanny placement agency that has been serving families since 1998. Today, International Nannies and Homecare Ltd. continues that tradition of personalized service by helping families connect with experienced caregivers who provide support for seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those requiring assistance with daily living.
